Use the catalogue's own navigation buttons. If you use the "back" button on your browser you risk losing your search.
Quick tips
To search the complete text of every catalogue entry:
1. Start with "any words or numbers"
2. Enter any combination of words and/or numbers in the search field
3. Click "Search"
To refine your search try adding more keywords. Terms may be combined using AND, OR, NOT, XOR.
Use AND to search for different types of information in the same catalogue record, e.g. title and recording date.
N.B. The Boolean $ symbol has limited usefulness due to the size of the database.
You can limit your search by selecting "name", "title", "subject" or "place" buttons from the drop–down list.
Or use "Advanced search" for further options.
The catalogue runs down 22:00 GMT every Friday for just over 2 hours.
