E3 2017: The Elder Scrolls Legends Heroes of Skyrim Expansion Announced

Share.
Arriving June 29.

Heroes of Skyrim, a new expansion for Bethesda's strategy card game The Elder Scrolls Legends, was announced during the publisher's E3 2017 press conference.

The expansion, which releases on June 29 for PC, iOS and Android, will add over 150 new cards. For an early look at Heroes of Skyrim, check out the announcement trailer below:

Heroes of Skyrim will feature recognizable characters from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, including dragons like Paarthurnax and Alduin, as well as Aela the Huntress, J’Zargo and Delphine. Additionally, the expansion will introduce a new mechanic called Shouts. Each Shout will have three levels that increase in power the more you use them.

Companions are also featured in Heroes of Skyrim, and will change into their Beast Form when a rune is broken. In addition to triggering abilities, Beast Form often results in a more powerful Companion. On top of that, several Skyrim-inspired themes are coming with the expansion, including ones for College of Winterhold and the Civil War.
