NATORE, Feb 11, 2017 (BSS) - A week-long Agriculture Technology Fair began at Natore Nawab Siraj-ud-Daulah Government College premises here today.
General Secretary of District Awami League M Shafiqul Islam Shimul, MP, inaugurated the fair as the chief guest at a function with Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture Extension, Natore, in the chair.
The chief guest said our country has achieved a remarkable success in agriculture sector and now it is a food exporting country.
"After ensuring food security now we should take necessary steps to ensure food safety. In this regard field level agriculture officials can play vital role by using newly innovational technology," he added.
A total of 28 food production and processing and technology stalls have been set up in the fair.
