Ford has officially started production of its new mid-engine exotic car, the GT. Aside from this launch, Ford has bestowed most of its updates upon the brand’s popular midsize family sedan, the Fusion. Quietly, the company has also increased the Focus Electric’s driving range, and has upgraded its charging system. Also, the Mustang Shelby GT350 gets a standard Track package for 2017.
Ford’s pickup truck lineup sees big changes for 2017. First, the automaker introduces a new 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Second, the long awaited F-150 Raptor arrives, ready to tackle rugged terrain. Third, the Super Duty lineup is completely redesigned, returning in F-250, F-350, and F-450 model series. The SUV and van lineups are largely carried over, except for the popular Escape, which gets a major mid-life update.
