The Kinder Surprise looks like an egg and sounds like an Easter sort of thing. But this Italian-produced hollow candy oval -- complete with hidden treasure -- is really an Easter egg for every day of the year.
Long popular with European schoolchildren, the Kinder Surprise starts with a milk chocolate shell that is lined with a luscious layer of white chocolate.
If this is where the story ended, it would still be good. But there's more. Inside the chocolate, there is a small, yolk-like plastic capsule. Inside this capsule resides a tiny prize.
