easyBus expands into Manchester Airport with new routes

easyBus, the leading value for money airport shuttle bus operator, is pleased to announce its expansion in the UK with the launch of a new route connecting Telford, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Wrexham, and Chester, and Manchester Airport with 10,000 introductory seats on sale at only £2 each.

The service will operate 16 times per day commencing Friday 21st October 2016 and run via the A5, A483 and M56 to Manchester Airport, with the first bus of the day leaving Shrewsbury at 04:00am and

the first departing from Telford at 05:00am. The last bus leaves Manchester Airport at 00:45am. Online booking can be made from 01st September at www.easybus.com.

The service will be based on easyBus' traditional proposition: great value - normal fares start at only £2; convenience - the service is point-to-point between the airport serving each town; frequency - there are 16 departures every day; and speed - all services are limited-stop and direct. And the earlier you book the cheaper it is.

This is easyBus' first service in Northern England and is operated by Express Airport Transfers who already operate easyBus routes in France. Consumers will now be able to transfer between Manchester Airport and Dee Valley and West Midlands at the lowest possible price.

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, easyBus chairman and "easy" brand owner, commented: "By providing year round budget airport transfers, easyBus will help the traveller's pound go that little bit further – particularly after sterling's fall - that means more opportunity to enjoy what their holiday destinations have to offer. I'm also confident we can make a big impact by making Manchester airport even more accessible to those on a budget when compared with today's sky-high taxi fares."

Andrew Martin, owner of Express Airport Transfers added: "We have been successfully operating easyBus in France and are excited to now bring the easyBus service to Manchester Airport in the UK. With over 14 years experience of providing low-cost airport transfers in France, the synergy between our two brands make our ongoing partnership a natural progression and continues our goal of delivering the best value airport transfers for our customers".

easyBus also operates in France; from Geneva Airport to Chamonix and Morzine - in addition to its UK routes to/from Central London, serving Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports from Victoria coach station, Liverpool St, Waterloo, Old St, Baker Street and Earls Court.
