Abandoned: Morris Brown’s Herndon Stadium

Two years ago, we brought you photos of Herndon Stadium, former home of the Morris Brown Wolverines. We showed you how this once state-of-the art stadium now laid in ruins, covered in graffiti, littered in trash

Please get your facts correct before posting something on the web. Morris Brown College is not a defunct college and the doors have never closed. Athletics was discontinued but academics still thrive. Morris Brown has been open since 1881 and the class of 2016 just graduated last weekend. Yes, MBC did file bankruptcy, but they successfully emerged from that bankruptcy some months ago. The stadium you are in is no longer owned by MBC, so any negative viewpoints should be directed at Invest Atlanta, not Morris Brown College. I implore you to go to the Morris Brown Administration building and seek out someone who can give you correct information for your videos. They can also assist you in possibly getting into Fountain Hall or “the clock tower” as you called it in this video. They can assist with a valid tour and tell you of our rich history so you don't have to go lurking around misinformed.

Mr Lawerence, she did not get mad at the fact that the stadium was on bad shape. It's the miss facts added to it. The school did not shut down. We do not own the stadium
Reed and his bandits do. There has been graduateschool every year since the school lost accreditation. The school is on a rebound and it's gonna be hard but she will get back to her former and I hope better.

White people are always acting like something that has gone in the African American community is representative of everything that will go wrong forever. They love to exaggerate and focus only on our missteps. They NEVER join us in celebrating our phoenix like rise from the ashes that they create and force us to exist in. Hello people, the Class of 2016 from Morris Brown graduated last weekend. Why didn't he put that in his racist video of Morris Brown's football stadium? Morris Brown is alive, kicking, and becoming get more stabilized as an institution after some rocky years. It has already gotten back on it feet. This video is misleading. I wish white people would stay out of Back people's business. Anyway, having a football team and stadium do NOT make a school solvent. Students, curricular offerings, programs and the money to fund them do. Fisk University in Nashville and Xavier in NOLA are two good HBCU examples.
