After wrapping up its Kerala schedule, the team of Nizhal has headed to Karnataka for the film's next schedule. The movie, directed by State Award-winning editor Appu Bhattathiri, has Kunchacko Boban and Nayanthara in the lead.
The thriller will give an opportunity to many of its team members including its lead cast to shoot outside Kerala for the first time since the pandemic lockdown was announced in March. Kunchacko recently shared a few videos from Bengaluru and Hogenakkal where the team is currently shooting.


The movie, which is scripted by S Sanjeev, has Kunchacko Boban reportedly playing a judicial magistrate named John Baby. Apart from the actor and Nayanthara, the film also has child artiste Izin Hash in a pivotal role. Sooraj S Kurup handles its music department while Deepak Menon cranks the camera.

The team had released the looks of both Nayanthara's and Kunchacko Boban's characters on their respective birthdays earlier this year.


With respect to Nizhal, Kunchacko had said that it was thriller that had him most excited after the superhit Anjaam Pathira earlier this year. Incidentally, Kunchacko will be teaming with Anjaam Pathira director Midhun Manuel Thomas for another thriller in which he would be reprising his character of criminologist Dr Anwar Hussain next year.


Kunchacko, meanwhile, had completed shooting for Martin Prakkat's Nayaattu after the lockdown rules were eased. He also has Jis Joy's Mohankumar Fans awaiting release and is also part of Ezra filmmaker Jay K's upcoming movie Grrr… that also has Suraj Venjaramoodu as part of the cast.
