Why they'll love being a Friend of the RA
-
A year of unlimited, free entry to all our exhibitions
Friend, parent, partner – expand their cultural horizons with 12 months unlimited access to every RA exhibition, whether that’s the 2021 Summer Exhibition, David Hockney: The Arrival of Spring, Normandy, 2020, Late Constable or Michael Armitage: Paradise Edict. Plus, all members can bring a family member and four children under 16 to any RA exhibition.
Please note: Friends of the RA are required to book a free ticket with a specific start time which will give entry to the whole building.
-
Priority access and member-only viewing hours
Friends enjoy priority access to all exhibitions as well as invitations to preview days ahead of the public openings. Please note: advance booking is required for all visitors, including Friends, so we can deliver a safe and comfortable experience in the galleries.
-
A home away from home – and so much more
Friends have all-day access to the The Fine Rooms – a dedicated space in Burlington House only available to Friends.
Friends also receive the RA Magazine four times a year straight to their door, and can take advantage of an extra 10% off in the RA Shop online and in store.*
*Exclusions apply, see terms and conditions.

Your support makes a difference
By sharing a Friends membership, you’ll not only give the gift of unlimited access to art online and in person – crucially, you’ll help ensure the RA remains a place for art and art-lovers for many years to come.
Like so many other arts organisations, we have been hit hard by the coronavirus crisis. However, unlike most of our peers, we do not receive revenue funding from the Government. We’re run by artists and funded by art-lovers and are incredibly fortunate to have a loyal community of Friends who have been our life-blood during this time. In the face of all this uncertainty we’re relying on our supporters more than ever.
Your support will allow us to continue our work – from developing the next generation of practising artists in the RA Schools, to researching and caring for our Collection, and realising our world-class programme of exhibitions. Thank you.
