FOR better or worse, David Guetta has changed the landscape of both commercial house and R&B over the past couple of years. His One Love CD teamed the French DJ with urban stars like Kelly Rowland, Kid Cudi, Akon and Fergie. It proved a Grammy-winning formula. Nothing But The Beat takes up where One Love left off as R&B stars line up for their pieces of chart-destined 130bpm action. Four singles — Where Them Girls At (Flo Rida, Nicki Minaj), Sweat (Snoop Dogg), Little Bad Girl (Taio Cruz, Ludacris) and Without U (Usher) have already been released to good response. Expect Jessie J’s pumping Repeat, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne’s trance-popper I Can Only Imagine and the strong Titanium with our own Sia to feature among future releases. A second non-vocal CD will please old-school Guetta fans. RATING: ★★★½ IN SHORT: Guetta-blasted
