We told you that Downtown Brooklyn's BellTel Lofts would be put up for sale around now, and bygummit, that just so happens to be the case for about 25 units listed on the Elliman website, ranging from a $500,000 studio ($683/sf) to a $1.418 million six-room unit with private outdoor space but no indication of penthouse status ($825/sf with terrace probably factored in). There are no floorplans available yet, so we can't dig too deep into this phone-company-headquarters-turned-luxury-condo, but we do know this building better be awesome if it wants to stick out in the suddenly crowded Downtown Brooklyn condo pool. As a reader put it: "Between Belltell, 110 Livingston, One Hanson, One Brooklyn and Oro Condos we’re looking at over 1000 units all with in a short distance from each other. Keep in mind gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins." Ominous.
