Large art gallery, flexible auditorium suitable for drama and music, tourist information centre and a multi-storey carpark

The initial brief asked for gallery space to be incorporated in the foyer area. Fuelled by a conviction that ‘Milton Keynes had the artistic energy and interest to warrant a gallery’, those involved in the project developed the brief to include a separate building with three different gallery spaces providing a total of 300m² of display space

In 2004, ABA helped Milton Keynes Gallery alter the foyer area and the external appearance of the Main Building with the artist Michael Craig-Martin.
