Most people in 2024 who are buying hub-type devices are lookign for add-on capability for current-gen tech. This dock is a swing and a miss simply because it doesn't add any USB-C at all. It takes one up in the back, and only has one in the rear for the dock to plug into. So all it really does there is move one of the USB-C ports to the front of the system instead.
It's nice to have a couple of old style USB ports, but why didn't they add extra USB-C? Most new devices (iphones, in particular) come with USB-C cables. External hard drive are all USB-C. The mini already has two old USB ports on it, most consumers don't need two more - or at least would get much more utility out of at least one extra USB-C.
