Just when I thought comedy and originality was lost in film...Mr. Vaughn brings us - "Argylle", a fantastical movie kaleidoscope filled with plot twists and turns, tons of laughs, action, adventure, acted with an amazing cast and displayed within a palette of colors that are visually stunning and exciting to watch. If you love Casino Royale, Pink Panther, James Bond and other spy thriller films that tell a story with a wonderful sense of humor...than this film is a definite YES for You. Forget the critics and have a great time with your friends and loved ones and see “Argylle”. We enjoyed it and laughed throughout the entire film. Mr. Sam Rockwell is so funny and perfectly cast as “Mr. Wilde” and the edits back and forth between his character and Mr. Henry Cavill's are pure joy and filled with total laughs! “Argylle” isn't a film that is meant to be serious, cerebral and profound...it is pure entertainment that takes you on a outlandish and hilarious roller coaster of a ride... and it delivers! We are waiting for the next installment of the franchise. SO Well done, Mr. Vaughn! And, a huge Bravo to Mr. Giles Martin and Mr. Lorne Balfe for the beautiful orchestration of the Beatles last song, "Now and Then". It is absolutely gorgeous and lush sounding throughout the entire film. Mr. Martin and Mr. Balfe weave the richness of the musical piece so perfectly in "Argylle" and at times, strains of it, reminds me as an homage to the late Mr. John Barry's James Bond theme soundtracks. The Beatles's last song in Mr Giles Martin's and Mr. Lorne Balfe's talented and incredibly capable hands is completely and utterly beautiful...a feast for the senses!
