Excellent edition of this book - the color pictures are very helpful - this is a great primer for every wine lover to have, whether novice or expert. I just finished my WSET Level 3 and I still find things to learn in this book. Karen's writing style is easy to comprehend and enjoyable to read. She's really one of my favorite wine writers in general, I read her blog religiously.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Wine Bible - for everyone

Living in France and enjoying a glass or two of good wine, I was intrigued to find this 'bible' on a trip to the States. It is very informative - not only on specific wines but also on the history, development and production of wine throughout the world. This is just the thing to dip in and out of - there always seems to be something to intrigue!
