Library | All Souls College

The Library at All Souls College is, like all Oxford college libraries, an independent institution. Unlike most other college libraries, however, current members of the University of Oxford and other researchers are welcome to apply to join the Library as Readers; this applies to both undergraduates and graduates, as well as to fellows, tutors, and researchers from other colleges, departments, and institutions.

The Library is open to registered Readers, Monday to Friday, 10am - 6:30pm during full term (weeks 1-8), and 10am - 4:30pm during vacation.

The Library is closing for the summer at the end of the day on Friday, 14 June 2024, and will reopen on Monday, 30 September 2024. If you, over the closure period, require a resource that is only available in Oxford at the Library, All Souls College, please email reader.services@all-souls.ox.ac.uk with the bibliographic details (title, author, imprint, SOLO link) and your availability.

Registered Readers who wish to continue using the Library must renew their access every academic year, but do not need to reapply:
