Born in Venezuela and based in New York, she joined Billboard in the summer of 2022 after 20+ years of experience at the Associated Press, where she served as Spanish Entertainment Editor, covering major events including the Cannes Film Festival, the Oscars, and the Latin Grammy Awards, while helping put many Latin artists on the global map. She has interviewed Latin music’s biggest stars, like Daddy Yankee, Shakira, Karol G, Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin and Juanes, and her work has appeared in hundreds of publications around the globe, both in English y en español.
