The excitement is growing – in just a few days, we will be welcoming you to #fbm24! Under the motto ‘FBM24 is Read!ng’, a multi-faceted programme awaits you: exciting talks on professional and pop-cultural topics combined with opportunities for exchange and networking, as well as encounters with bestselling authors and many other stars. This year, Italy will be the Guest of Honour, presenting a mix of literary tradition and modernity. By the way: Even before the fair begins, there’s an additional special event to look forward to. From 14–20 October, you can experience Goethe's Italian Journey in a special escape room directly at Paulsplatz, right in the centre of Frankfurt!

Our event tip for 16 October

Questions that lead us to a more liveable future

Historian and author Yuval Noah Harari and philosopher Kohei Sato, a critic of capitalism, will discuss questions about the future and possible dangers posed by our modern information networks. The event takes place on the evening of 16 October from 7.30 to 9.00 pm.
