Summerween, offered by River City Company. 6-10 p.m. at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Patten Parkway. Attendees are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes. The street will be filled with performers such as fire dancers, magicians and live music, along with vintage and eclectic vendors. There will also be activities such as a watermelon carving contest and an adult costume contest.

The Boynton Lions Club of Ringgold and the Ringgold Convention and Visitors Bureau are hosting a Summer Movie Night at the Ringgold Depot at 7 p.m. The event features WISH and aids Catoosa County residents to improve their sight and assist with other Lions projects. The event is free but donations will be received. Concessions will be available for purchase. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Lions will also collect used glasses for recycling. Event partners are Blackwell Automotive, Builtwell Bank and Hamilton Glass Co. of Dalton. Partners are still needed. The 2024 Scopes Trial play Destiny in Dayton will be offered. Tickets for play performances on July 12, 13 and 19 are $30. Tickets for Saturday, July 20, are $90, and include dinner with the cast on the courthouse lawn.
