Seamlessly tying together the worlds of Punjabi music and UK rap.
Hit-making producer Steel Banglez has returned with yet another star-studded single to upset the charts with. Joining him for this latest outing is frequent collaborator and old friend Mist, tough-talking Stefflon Don, and international Punjabi superstar Sidhu Moose Wala.
While the track—entitled "47"—might seem like a surprising team-up, this has in fact been a long time coming. Steel Banglez has long been calling on his Asian heritage for influence in his productions; Mist has been weaving Punjabi slang into his songs and freestyles for years; and Steff has been a musical chameleon from day one. Here, each artist plays to their strengths: Sidhu handles the hook, while Mist and Steff take turns firing out their highly quotable bars over a Punjabi-flecked production to seamlessly unite the worlds of Punjabi music and UK rap.
