Rise Up for LGBTQ+ Youth: Back to School 2024
Returning to school means navigating new opportunities and challenges.
This upcoming school year, GLSEN’s work to create safe, affirming, and inclusive schools for LGBTQ+ youth continues to be critical as we all return to the classroom.
Through our actions and resources, we hope to provide you with the knowledge and power to take action and help shape the future.
FOR STUDENTS:
Take GLSEN’s National School Climate Survey

- Eligibility: LGBTQ+ youth aged 13 or older who attended middle or high school in the US during the 2023-2024 school year.
- Purpose: To gather data that will inform GLSEN’s advocacy and policymakers in creating safer, more inclusive schools.
- Participation Benefits: Participants contribute to critical research that influences policies and practices in schools nationwide.
