This book is a behind the scenes look at the making of a tv show. I really enjoyed the way it was written; it was a real page turner. The book deals with everything from conception of the show to the pilot episode broadcast. You will finish this book with a deep respect for Rick Berman, the producer of all things Star Trek during the 90's and early 2000s. Juggling two tv shows and a feature film, it is a wonder the man didn't collapse from exhaustion. Overall, this was a very fun and interesting read. I highly recommend it.

Brilliant in-depth book about how Voyager got started. It takes you from when Voyager was just an idea in the writers' heads to the filming of the first season. Definitely recommended if you're a fan of the series.

After reading the Making of Star Trek original series this one was a must read. At this stage we know Star Trek is a success with The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine so there doesn't seem to be as much drama behind the scenes in Voyager.
