Suspect

This is the sketch of man wanted by Kelowna police in connection with an attempted sexual assault on the Mission Creek Greenway. 

Kelowna police have released a sketch of suspect wanted in connection with a reported attempted sexual assault on the Mission Creek Greenway. 

The suspect is described as white, between 50 and 60 years old, with short grey hair. At the time of the incident, about 8:45 p.m. on June 9, he was wearing a grey or white long-sleeve jacket with red colouring on the shoulder. 

“If you are able to identify the male suspect, please contact the RCMP non-anonymous tip line at 250.470.6236 and reference file number 2024-31438,” Kelowna RCMP Sgt. Laura Pollock said in a release. 

Anonymous tips can also be phoned into Crimestoppers at 800.222.8477.

Police would also like to see any relevant video surveillance or dash cam footage captured on June 9 between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. 

A woman told police an unknown male attempted to sexually assault her as she was walking along a section of the Greenway in the 2300 block of Springfield Road.
