The NBA made headlines on Thursday by announcing the league's full schedule for the upcoming season.
Along with a complete list of games, the league also announced a special slate of games to be played on important holidays during the regular season.
One of those days is January 15 which is Martin Luther King Day in 2024.
Who is playing on Martin Luther King Day?
To celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., eight NBA teams will hit the court in four nationally televised games.
The first game on Monday, January 15 will be the Houston Rockets visiting the Philadelphia 76ers at 1:00 pm ET on NBA TV.
The second game of the day will feature the Atlanta Hawks, who are a staple playing on MLK day, against the San Antonio Spurs at 3:30 pm ET. That game can be enjoyed by fans on TNT.
The Memphis Grizzlies will face off against the Golden State Warriors at 6:00 pm ET (also on TNT) in the third game of the day, while the Oklahoma City Thunder will visit the Los Angeles Lakers to close out the night at 10:30 pm ET (on NBA TV).
