Buzzard, Donkey Kong 64

The Buzzard[1][2][3] is a friendly character of his namesake species in Donkey Kong 64. The Buzzard is first seen locked in a cage near Snide's HQ in Angry Aztec, and can be freed from Diddy Kong using his Jetbarrel to fly through the ring on top of the giant statue three times. Following this, the Buzzard drops rings behind, and rewards Diddy a Golden Banana if he manages to fly through every ring.
