Green Farm 1 is the first race track in the horse racing sport of Mario Sports Superstars, as well as the first track of three courses in the Mushroom Cup. It is the track that appears in the tutorial "How to Play" when players first start out, as well as being the first course undertaken in Ring Challenge. The track is beginner-friendly, with many straightforward locations for the items and easy turns, as well as the items being relatively easy to obtain. The track additionally appears when players take their horse for an outing in stable mode, where players can grab ? crates to unlock items such as feed, accessories, and coins. The total distance of the course is 900m, sharing the distance with Green Farm 3, Yellow Leaves Hill 1, and Yellow Leaves Hill 3.
Course layout[edit]
The track first begins with a gentle curve to the right, introducing players to stars that fill out the Star Dash technique where players can jump to obtain them, as well as higher stars that can be accessed only via a double jump, a technique where jockeys can jump off their horses to reach higher items. Next is a twisty road that players must navigate around if they cannot cut through this with their Star Dash technique: this road has many stars and carrots on this area; carrots refill the horse's stamina. After a turn is a straight road with dash panels and hedges. Dash panels causes the player's horses to travel quicker while hedges must be jumped over to avoid them, as they slow players down. On top of the hedges, players can obtain carrots. Past this straight road is the southern portion of the track, where the road twists and curves, with various hedges and more items to collect, as well as patches of grass that players can cut through if they have at least one fully filled out Star Dash. Past this is the end of the track.
