Uzbekistan
General Information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Uzbekistan were established on October 27, 1995.
In 2019, Aram Grigoryan has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Uzbekistan (residence in Yerevan).

Legal Framework
Six bilateral documents have been signed between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Trade and Economic Relations
On August 3-4, 2023, the first Session of the Armenian-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation took place in Tashkent.

Main imported goods:
Knitted fabric, glass products, cotton yarn, electrical equipment for heating premises and land plots, other electrical equipment, sulfates, persulfates and acids.
Main exported goods:
Medicinal products, medical equipment, canned fruits, nuts, berries, blood serum, vaccines, cultivated microbes and ethyl alcohol.
