Biography

Fronietta Paspati played singles and doubles at the 1906 Olympic tennis tournament, winning a bronze medal in singles, winning one match and then losing in the semi-finals. Paspati married into the Paspatis family, a merchant family from the Greek island of Chios that settled in Liverpool, England and made a fortune. She was the sister-in-law of Konstantinos Paspatis, who effectively won a bronze medal in singles tennis at the 1896 Olympics.
