OSCE Office in Minsk (closed)
The OSCE Office in Minsk was established on 1 January 2003. Its mandate expired on 31 December 2010 and the closing process was completed on 31 March 2011.
The Office was given the following tasks:
- Assisting the Belarusian Government in further promoting institution building, and in further consolidating the rule of law and in developing relations with civil society, in accordance with OSCE principles and commitments;
- Assisting the Belarusian Government in its efforts in developing economic and environmental activities; and
- Monitoring and reporting accurately on the above mentioned objectives.
