You amaze us, Chella Man. You’re only 25, but as a deaf and nonbinary artist and actor of color, you’ve already made history in multiple fields: as a model signed to IMG, as a superhero on the DC Comics series Titans, and now as an illustrator celebrating your debut show this year.

You bring intersectional representation to everything you do, Chella. You do it all with beauty, excellence, and joy in the face of a culture that would silence and force narratives of sadness upon marginalized people. And about that beauty — you were named the face of YSL Beauty for a reason. You’ve used this spotlight for good in your endeavors, by turning cochlear implants into jewelry as a means of raising awareness of deaf people within the fashion industry, for example.

And you’ve turned your artistic eye inward in projects like last year’s The Device That Turned Me Into a Cyborg Was Born the Same Year I Was, a short film that explored the complex relationship between yourself and an implant — and between the hearing and deaf worlds.

Your art and advocacy even helped you land on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list this year. You make the mainstream see us and all the communities you represent. And for that, we see you and love you.

Noah J. Ricketts

Noah J. Ricketts, we’ve been singing praises since you were on Broadway playing the hunky Kristoff in Frozen! Thoughts of you kept us warm all winter.

When you played Frankie in the Peabody-winning Fellow Travelers, you reminded us all of the beautiful authenticity and resilience that Black queer people have lived with throughout history. Fellow Travelers gives those who came before us their flowers, honors their memories, and makes sure future generations will know that there have always been people like us fighting for rights — but also finding love, feeling joy, and living happy lives.

In a cast that boasted dreamboats like Matt Bomer, Jonathan Bailey, and Jelani Alladin, our eyes kept going to you. When you got in drag and performed “Santa Baby,” we felt like kids on Christmas morning. Now that you’re playing Nick in The Great Gatsby on Broadway, all we want to do is dress dapper and party with you! Thank you, Noah, we love you.

Besides being a great parent and role model to your children, you are a beacon of light when it comes to being an out and proud Latino man in show business, proving to a whole generation of queer men that you can and deserve to have it all. Whether it’s on the small screen in a starring role on this year’s hit Apple TV+ series Palm Royale or onstage performing your hits on tour or at LA Pride, there is a calm, cool, and collected aura that surrounds you and makes gays everywhere feel seen. And if we’re being real, it’s incredibly attractive!

Combined with your penchant for posting all sorts of shirtless snapshots on Instagram and your well-documented, unabashed love for all things having to do with feet, you’re the sexy, fun bachelor of many gay boys’ dreams.Though you’ve been a part of many people’s lives for years already, we can confidently say that things are just starting to pick up for you and your career. And we’ll be proud, swooning witnesses to the “Ricky Renaissance” that is about to take the world by storm.

If you Googled the definition of “heartthrob,” chances are pictures of Colton Haynes would pop up.

Always impeccably groomed with a killer sense of style and a debonair smile (with dimples!) that can light up even the darkest room, you and your classic good looks are exactly who we would picture when asked who we think would be a perfect Hollywood leading man, Colton!

Although we know it hasn’t always been easy, especially in the early days of your career when you had to hide a major part of yourself from the world in order to have a viable career in show business, the courage it took to finally speak your truth and to set an example for other aspiring queer actors is probably what we love about you the most. Since you’re in your single era, we want to formally remind the world how great of a catch you are, and how anyone who has the pleasure of being your acquaintance is the luckiest person in the world.

The king of gay pop is also the king of our hearts.

It’s hard to believe that it has already been 10 years since your EP TRXYE put you on the global pop music map. But from those humble beginnings, you’ve been able to make a career out of being your most authentic self. And it’s easy to see why so many folks are drawn to you and your work. Since 2014, you’ve released three smash studio albums filled to the brim with bops (your bottoming anthem “Bloom” is still a crowd-pleasing favorite), starred in multiple critically acclaimed film and TV projects, and this year, even garnered your first two Grammy nominations (about damn time!) for your queer AF bop “Rush.”

As you are getting ready to embark on your joint headlining tour later this year with fellow pop icon Charli XCX, aptly called Sweat, we have to gush about how much you make us sweat in 2024. Oozing charisma out of every pore, you know exactly how to capture our attention, and we’re proud to give it all to you, Troye. Wilson Cruz, we love you more and more each year. You’ve been breaking barriers and pushing boundaries for queer representation for decades now, and no one does it quite like you.

When we were teens, we all had crushes on your groundbreaking My So-Called Life character, Rickie Vasquez. A lot of us were terrified to be ourselves in high school where it feels like the whole world has judgmental eyes. And you showed us what was possible. We had never seen anyone like us on TV, and you changed that, and we’ll be forever thankful.

Now that we’ve grown up, you have too, and damn, you’ve done it well! On Star Trek: Discovery, you even pushed queer representation into the 23rd century as our favorite space daddy, Dr. Hugh Culber! There, you showed us that no matter where or when we are, there will always be people in the universe with whom we can form a chosen family.

From the sincerest part of our hearts, we also thank you for all the shirtless and tank-top pics you post on your Instagram. Your abs, your chest, your arms, your beautiful silver hair, and your gorgeous smile remind us why we love being gay. Your work with GLAAD and GLSEN has literally saved lives, and we can’t think of anything more attractive than that. You truly are the best of us. Archie, keeping up with your evolution and growth is nothing but a blast. It brings us joy to see you do it all while maintaining the same level of class, kindness, and empathy you’ve always had in your life and career.

We know that coming-out journeys aren’t always exactly the way we wish they could’ve been. Along the way, you’ve had to face people whose minds weren’t open to learning, evolving, and understanding, even as you did your very best to meet them halfway. But we’re still proud of you for trying, and just as proud to see that you stood up for yourself when the time felt right.

There’s something really special about Kade…and we’re pretty excited to celebrate him.

Kade, you’ve been ushering in a groundbreaking revolution of transmasculine representation on mainstream television, paving the way for other trans men to be visible, understood, desired, respected, and loved. You also continue to challenge the predetermined notion that trans people have to fit into certain boxes in order to pass or be accepted by the cis-tem.

You’re a confident, talented, and successful man — not to mention a bona fide heartthrob. You also never ignore the community as a whole, taking the time to share your knowledge in a book like The T Guide. As we fall in love with you and thirst over the stud that you are, we also hold space for how many doors you’ve opened for other trans guys to show off their bodies and be proud of themselves!

And while we couldn’t predict how quickly you’d become the global superstar that you are now, all we have to say is: I know that’s right!

Ncuti Gatwa is a name that the entire world is now familiar with due to your breakout performances in projects like Sex Education, Barbie, Masters of the Air, and as the Fifteenth Doctor in the long-running Doctor Who franchise. It’s been thrilling to watch you not only elevate the confidence, talent, and star power that you bring to your craft, but also become more handsome and hunkier by the day.

So hmm, pardon our French, but can we talk really quickly about this body-ody-ody? We are officially crushing, and it’s all on you, babes. Doctor Who fans have a long history of developing a serious crush on the Doctors. But for us, we have to say that you might be the biggest one of all!

We were already celebrating every new life update and career opportunity that you’ve unlocked in the past few years, which included coming out as a queer man in 2023.
