Hmmm... In fact, the Swooping Snitchbug is really out of order... That made me think that the beta name for it could be "Flying Snitchbug" (seeing that "Fiery"<"Flying"<"Goolix") [SRB2]EspyoT 22:54, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Huh? I'm ~CrystalRedpikminsprite.jpgLucario~ And I approve this message.
Article: Snitchbug's in the wrong place in the reel, since the left are ordered alphabetically. And yeah, "fly-" sounds likely.GP

What?!? ONce I beat the game and saw the Enemy Reel, I tried to do it again and get pictures. Killerbreadbug72Orange Bulborb Larve.jpgDisscussion Random 22:36, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for clarifing Green I'm ~CrystalRedpikminsprite.jpgLucario~ And I approve this message.

Actually what you say about flying snitchbug fits, and I have also noticed that it shows beta locations like the goolix. Also some ship parts can be seen. Artwork of an Orange Bulborb. Snake boss14 Artwork of a Hairy Bulborb. 23:10, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Beta[edit]

I noted that some creature in the enemy reel appear in beta versions of the area, sometimes with different creatures in the background. Ex: in the Yellow Wollywog, in the place of a Spooty Bulbear there is a Spooty Bulborb (AKA Red Bulborb). I want to remake the article with this fact (I thinks it's important). Can you help me? --TyagoHexagon 17:42, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

No, remaking the article just because of that is not worth it. Everybody knows that already and it's told in other articles. Twinmold.pngSnakeboss14Twinmold.png

Which articles? Can you give me a example? I have been reading many articles in this Wiki and I never found any reference to it.

Ok, I was a little bit stupid to think that no one else had yet discovered this. I think that neither is worth mentioning that the version for Wii has a background with flowers.

--TyagoHexagon 19:00, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

First, it says so in Distant Spring, Extraodinary Bolt, Positron Generator and Goolix articles.
Second, the flowery background in the NPC! version is worth mentioning as it is a variation between the different versions.
Third, the article already says about the beta locations. Twinmold.pngSnakeboss14Twinmold.png

Thats probably not a beta spotty bulborbs are seen in the distant spring in chalange mode but not in that spot, in fact im pretty sure it was just a reference to chalange mode. Strudel man 18:25, December 5, 2009 (UTC)

Uh, HELLO[edit]

The NPC version not only start(ed) late, its been removed. Pikifan4 (talk) 08:35, 2 February 2016 (EST)

Ugh, it keeps happening. Enough of this. Let's keep a video of the GameCube version, and not have any video about the Wii one. It's the same video, except there are flowers. An image is enough to show that off. — {EspyoT} 15:13, 2 February 2016 (EST)

Replace colloquial name[edit]

"Enemy reel" and "Creature montage" appear to be colloquial names. The Pikmin World soundtrack calls the music playing in this sequence "生物せいぶつぜん記録きろく", which pretty directly translates to "Complete Creature Record" from what I can gather. Ideally we should adapt this name. However, if this sequence is mentioned in an official guidebook or something, we should use what it's called there, as an English source.

(This discussion was continued from Discord. Also it's translated as "Enemy reel" on the Pikmin World page which should be changed too.) SupremeKirb (talk) 06:54, October 31, 2024 (EDT)

We don't necessarily need to use the name of the cutscene's song as an official name for the cutscene. We don't do this for menus, for example, as we name those based on their function instead of naming them after the song that plays in the menu. — Soprano(talk) 20:41, October 31, 2024 (EDT)
