DRIED MY TEARS

DRIED MY TEARS

All alone, trapped in a lie
Heart broken, tears I cry
There's no way out of this mess
Lord I'm lost I must confess
But when I turn, there is You
By Your Grace I see it through

All around, the world rush by
In such a hurry to go and die
God I can't ransom my soul
Lord I must give up control
The world's only gift is dying
A lie that I'm just not buying

If I just stood still for a moment
Let the world go wherever it went
I know He is God when I am still
Lord I pray to stay here in Your will
That I know you I pick up the pace
Let me abide forever in Your Grace

As a child I dreamed of a place
Up in the clouds, way out in space
A place my tears would all dry
Before I believed the world's lie
At the Cross Jesus took my fears
When I was still, He dried my tears
AMEN
