I wished a wish I wish I didn't wish
A day at a time a time of the day
Dish out what you can't take don't dish
The way is the way if you pray to pray

Time rolls on come let's redeem the time
From a couple of fish, thousands eat fish
Life is a poem, never seems to rhyme

Sins captive that never captures sin
Cry over milk, it becomes childish
Oh Lord, fill me here once again

The Cross before me, I'm before the Cross
Lord hide me like Jonah in a mighty fish
So I speak the Word, to redeem the loss

Wishes aren't prayer, a wish you can't pray
Trust never in the dreams that you wish
For I place trust in You today and every day
