As a fan of the Devil May Cry games, I'm thrilled with the new series. The action is intense, the music is metal, and it stays true to the source material. The characters are well-written, the humor is dark, and the story is beyond exciting. A Must Watch!

As a fan of the games, this was a total disappointment. In the video games, Dante is virtually untouchable — no ally has ever been able to even scratch him. Here, he gets captured effortlessly and Lady injects him TWICE like it’s nothing. Where is the powerful, unstoppable Dante we know? But the worst part was the Devil Trigger: in the games, he unlocks it after an epic battle against Vergil, giving it his all and still losing. Here, he activates it with zero build-up, no emotional weight… and it changes nothing. They reduced him to a shadow of what he was. Totally nerfed. This isn’t a tribute — it’s an insult. I really mean this I hope they don’t get a second season, I just dont want to see what this guys do with Virgil.

SO GOOD! Finally we have some great action TV again. Some bits are a little corny with references to religion... but everything else is 10/10. Hopefully this marks the end of all the gender swapping nonsense.

Thought the show was excellent—different from the games in some ways, but honestly for the better since the game’s story was never its strongest point. They absolutely nailed the music and action, which really made it shine. Awesome job overall, can’t wait for season 2!
