Mass Selection of Design Consultants
On May 7, 2022, the San Antonio public approved six propositions for the City’s 2022-2027 Bond Program totaling $1.2 billion and including 183 projects. With voter approval, Public Works is ready to get to work with the design and construction industry to deliver the street, drainage, parks and facility projects.
On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, Public Works released three Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) for design services for 127 projects as part of the 2022-2027 Bond Program. Solicitation for the design services include 58 street, sidewalk, and drainage projects in the Civil Engineering RFQ; 14 library, cultural and public safety facility projects in the Architecture RFQ; and 55 park and linear greenway projects in the Landscape Architecture RFQ.
June 22, 2022 Pre-Submittal Conference
A Pre-Submittal Conference will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 1:30 pm, Central Time, in Conference Room 214 at the Henry B. González Convention Center located at 900 East Market Street. During this conference, City staff will present general information on the 2022-2027 Bond Program, the solicitation requirements, rules and instructions, the SBEDA application, and respond to questions regarding the recently released RFQs.
