Shall the Sun and Lunar
Month Cycles NOT Gather Assemblies

Discover in this Hebrew Interlinear Word Study/Article a striking contrast of how these two verses in YeshaYAHU (Isaiah) 60:19-20 were translated in the King James Version of the English Scriptures in comparison to the original intent of the Hebrew text. Based entirely upon the modern translations, folks have been declaring that throughout ETERNITY, there will be NO MORE SUN OR MOON PERIOD, as they will cease to exist!  But through the details provided in this Hebrew Word Study, I hope to change a few minds and illustrate that “Never shall the SUN and LUNAR MONTH CYCLES NOT gather assemblies.”  Who might be behind this anomaly, and what might be their hope of gain? 

Those who seek an ETERNAL HOME with their Creator and Messiah Redeemer are the most likely candidates to wrestle with the dynamics presented in the following two verses. Although verse 19 holds no problems, it is utilized here for contextual continuity of thought in identifying the proactive translation errors of verse 20.

Breakdown of Two Verses

After looking over the above Hebrew Word Study, what becomes apparent according to the text in YeshaYAHU (Isaiah) 60:19 is that throughout eternity, YAHUAH, our Creator and King of Kings, will Himself illuminate His Kadosh (sacred) New Yarushalom (Eternal Holy City).  The LIGHT from HIS presence will be so brilliant that neither the LIGHT of the SUN nor MOON will be needed within the Holy City.  This same theme is repeated again in the second half of verse 20.  This does not mean that the SUN and Moon will cease to exist altogether. This view is validated in Revelation:

“And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the splendor of ELOHIM did illuminate it, and the LAMB is the LIGHT thereof.”  Revelation 21:23

 

“And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for YAHUAH ELOHIM gives them LIGHT: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”  Revelation 22:5

Next, according to the King James Bible translation, it states in the first portion of YeshaYAHU (Isaiah) 60:20, which is the point of issue: “Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself. . .” This means neither the SUN nor MOON shall MEASURE TIME or BEACON ASSEMBLY DAYS any longer.  So, in addition to Yahuah Elohim emanating the brilliant LIGHT, it caused the LIGHT of the sun and moon to become obsolete, but according to the KJV, the sun and moon will not beacon time any longer. But far from this KJV translation error, according to the Hebrew Word Study, based wholly upon the Hebrew text, this is entirely opposite of the TRUTH.

Double Negatives

Does a double negative cancel itself out? While we find the term “not” twice in verse 19 and also in verse 20, each one is utilized differently.  In verse 19, the second negative, “not,” confirms what the first “not” clarified.  But in verse 20, the two negatives cancel themselves out in such a way that adds emphasis and power to the narrative: 

“NEVER shall the ENUMERATING REPETITION of your SUN, and your LUNAR MONTH CYCLES NOT GATHER ASSEMBLIES . . .”  Isaiah 60:20

When a double negative is utilized, saying that “never” shall something “not” occur, it means it will continue always.  For example, “Never shall the river not flow to the sea” means the river shall continually and always flow to the sea. So this first portion of verse 20 punctuates several Scriptural FACTS:

1. The SUN shall always maintain its enumerating repetition for clicking-off DAYS from sunrise to sunset when it rules.
2. The MOON shall always maintain its enumerating repetition of LUNAR MONTH CYCLES, demarcating numerically each of the 29-30 civil calendar dates with its own unique lunar phase by NIGHT, and then refreshing to start over with each full New Moon.
3. Both SUN and MOON together shall continue into all eternity to perpetually demarcate APPOINTED FIXED TIMES OF ASSEMBLY.  These assemblies include the full New Moon day, Seventh-day Sabbaths, and all the annual Kadosh Feast Days. 

While nothing in these two verses speaks of the stars, they collectively place a seal upon our Creator’s three-part harmony of LIGHTS that He ordained for a dual and even a triple PURPOSE: 1) To shine for LIGHT; 2) For Heat; 3) And for demarcating TIME. 

Scriptural Harmony

Now Isaiah 60:19-20 is in harmony with: 

• Leviticus 23:1-4 that defines of the Seventh-day Sabbaths and yearly Feast Days as Kadosh (Sacred) Assemblies otherwise known as Holy Convocations. 
• Isaiah 66:22-23 stating, “For according as the shamayim (starry abode), the New Moons, and the earth: The New Moon that I fashioned and placed in this order was appointed for My chief corner [stone], declares Yahuah.  Wherefore, it/they [the full New Moon & the Messiah] establishes and confirms your name and your descendants.  “And it shall come to pass from its abundance— New Moon by New Moon you shall keep; and from its abundance— Sabbath by Sabbath you shall keep.  It [the full New Moon] shall lead all flesh to prostrate in worship, according to My chief corner [stone],” declares Yahuah.” Isaiah 66:22-23
• Ezekiel 46:1-3 states:  “Thus declares the Almighty Yahuah, “the Gate of the courtyard interior facing the EAST shall be SHUT six days for work, and in the day of the SABBATH it shall be thrown open wide, and in the day of the NEW MOON it shall be thrown open wide. But come unto the exalted one, by way of the porch of the temple gate from without, and stand beside the doorpost of the gate and observe the Kohenim’s (Priests) symbolic Aleph and Tav burnt offering and symbolic Aleph and Tav peace offering.  And you shall prostrate in worship upon the threshold of the open gate, coming and going at any time, but the gate shall not be shut until sunset.   And thus worshiped the people of the land at the entrance way of the same gate in the SABBATHS and in the NEW MOON DAYS before the face of YAHUAH.”

The question now answered is why would the “End of the World” and the “Second Coming,” or even “moving temporarily to the heavenly city,” predicate a change in TIME-MEASURING?  Now we know the answer.  It won’t!  More evidence . . .

“He shall not alter it, nor change it . . .” Leviticus 27:10

“For I am YAHUAH, I CHANGE NOT!  Malachi 3:6

Ownership of the False Narrative

The question must be asked. . . Who or what entities are most likely to benefit from a false narrative? Who desires it to appear that the sun, moon, and stars will cease to exist following the Second Coming of the Messiah?  It would include any entity or traditional organization that has a deeply invested interest in maintaining it’s worldwide honored and accepted valuation of its replacement calendar model. Along with each comes a narrative that all or part of the astro-lunar-solar calendar is also of no vital impact today. 

This would include primarily the Romans and Modern Jews. Yet, each of these, along with the Egyptians, have borrowed at different times over the past 3,000 years many of their calendar revisions from none other than BABYLON. Babylon was historically the source of solar time and a conjunction/crescent New Moon, each in 180-degree opposition to the unique honor our CREATOR gave the FULL MOON as the true NEW MOON.

Its uniqueness abides in the fact that it is the only lunar phase visible from both hemispheres in a 24 hour day/night cycle. Thus, providing a start and stop point for New Year’s Day, New Moon Day, even dividing itself in four quarter lunar phases for weeks and Sabbaths, and demarcates each of the 29-30 days with its own distinct lunar phase.

Behind the mask of the Roman and Jewish calendar time-measuring systems lay the  Babylonian OCCULT and the dark mouthpiece of its ruler, haShatan.

The fact that YAHUAH ELOHIM/ALAHIM’S OWN BRILLIANT SPLENDOR will outshine the sun and moon in the Kadosh (Holy) City, New Yarushalom, will be a most welcome event for all present. I desire to witness this marvelous occasion personally and hope to see you there.  HalleluYAH!!!
