     George Fermor, 2nd Earl of Pomfret was born on 25 June 1722.1 He was the son of Thomas Fermor, 1st Earl Pomfret and Hon. Henrietta Louisa Jeffreys.1,2 He married Anna Maria Delagard on 3 May 1764 at St. James's, Westminster, London, EnglandG. He died on 9 June 1785 at age 62 at Easton Neston, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Earl of Pomfret.

     Anna Maria Delagard was born circa 1736.1 She married George Fermor, 2nd Earl of Pomfret, son of Thomas Fermor, 1st Earl Pomfret and Hon. Henrietta Louisa Jeffreys, on 3 May 1764 at St. James's, Westminster, London, EnglandG. She died on 24 September 1787.1
     From 3 May 1764, her married name became Fermor.1

Henrietta Louisa Jeffreys was the daughter of John Jeffreys, 2nd Baron Jeffreys of Wem and Lady Charlotte Herbert.1 She married Thomas Fermor, 1st Earl Pomfret, son of William Fermor, 1st Baron Leominster and Lady Sophia Osborne, on 14 July 1720 at Easton Neston, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.3 She died on 17 December 1761 at Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1
     From 14 July 1720, her married name became Fermor.1

     George Jeffreys, 1st Baron Jeffreys of Wem was born circa 1648 at Acton Park, Denbighshire, WalesG.1 He was the son of John Jeffreys and Margaret Ireland.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Neesham, daughter of Reverend Thomas Neesham, on 22 May 1667 at Allhallows, Barking, EnglandG.4 He married, secondly, Anne Bludworth, daughter of Sir Thomas Bludworth, circa 6 June 1679.1 He died on 18 April 1689 at Tower of London, The City, London, EnglandG.1
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, EnglandG.4 He was educated at St. Paul's School, London, EnglandG.4 He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, EnglandG.4 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.4 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1671 entitled to practise as a barrister.4 He was a practising Common Serjeant in 1671.4 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1677.4 He was appointed Knight in 1677.4 He was Solicitor-General to the Duke of York (later King James II) in 1677.4 He held the office of Recorder of London between 1678 and 1680.4 He was created 1st Baronet Jeffreys, of Wem, co.      Sarah Neesham was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Neesham.1 She married George Jeffreys, 1st Baron Jeffreys of Wem, son of John Jeffreys and Margaret Ireland, on 22 May 1667 at Allhallows, Barking, EnglandG.2 She died circa 15 February 1677/78.1 She was buried on 18 February 1677/78.2
     From 22 May 1667, her married name became Jeffreys.1

     Anne Bludworth was born on 16 December 1657 at St. Dionis Backchurch, Fenchurch Street, London, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Bludworth.2 She married, firstly, Sir John Jones, son of Colonel Philip Jones and Jane Price.2 She married, secondly, George Jeffreys, 1st Baron Jeffreys of Wem, son of John Jeffreys and Margaret Ireland, circa 6 June 1679.1 She died circa September 1703.1
     Her married name became Jones.2 From 6 June 1679, her married name became Jeffreys.1 After her marriage, Anne Bludworth was styled as Baroness Jeffreys of Wem on 16 May 1685.
