     George Fermor, 2nd Earl of Pomfret was born on 25 June 1722.¹ He was the son of Thomas Fermor, 1st Earl Pomfret and Hon. Henrietta Louisa Jeffreys.^1,2 He married Anna Maria Delagard on 3 May 1764 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England^G. He died on 9 June 1785 at age 62 at Easton Neston, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹
     He gained the title of 2nd Earl of Pomfret.

     Anna Maria Delagard was born circa 1736.¹ She married George Fermor, 2nd Earl of Pomfret, son of Thomas Fermor, 1st Earl Pomfret and Hon. Henrietta Louisa Jeffreys, on 3 May 1764 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England^G. She died on 24 September 1787.¹
     From 3 May 1764, her married name became Fermor.¹

     Hon. Henrietta Louisa Jeffreys was the daughter of John Jeffreys, 2nd Baron Jeffreys of Wem and Lady Charlotte Herbert.¹ She married Thomas Fermor, 1st Earl Pomfret, son of William Fermor, 1st Baron Leominster and Lady Sophia Osborne, on 14 July 1720 at Easton Neston, Northamptonshire, England^G.³ She died on 17 December 1761 at Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹
     From 14 July 1720, her married name became Fermor.¹

     George Jeffreys, 1st Baron Jeffreys of Wem was born circa 1648 at Acton Park, Denbighshire, Wales^G.¹ He was the son of John Jeffreys and Margaret Ireland.¹ He married, firstly, Sarah Neesham, daughter of Reverend Thomas Neesham, on 22 May 1667 at Allhallows, Barking, England^G.⁴ He married, secondly, Anne Bludworth, daughter of Sir Thomas Bludworth, circa 6 June 1679.¹ He died on 18 April 1689 at Tower of London, The City, London, England^G.¹

Salop. [England] on 7 November 1681.⁴ He held the office of Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench from 1683 to February 1688/89.⁴ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) from 1683 to February 1688/89.⁴ In 1685 he was notorious (though unjustly) for his savage sentencing after Monmouth's Rebellion.⁴ He held the office of Lord Chancellor between 1685 and 1688.⁴ He was created 1st Baron Jeffreys of Wem, co. Salop. [England] on 16 May 1685.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire and Shropshire between 1687 and 1689.⁴ In 1688 he was imprisoned in the Tower of London aftehr William III's landing.⁴ He lived at Bulstrode, Hedgerley, Buckinghamshire, England.⁴

     Sarah Neesham was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Neesham.¹ She married George Jeffreys, 1st Baron Jeffreys of Wem, son of John Jeffreys and Margaret Ireland, on 22 May 1667 at Allhallows, Barking, England^G.² She died circa 15 February 1677/78.¹ She was buried on 18 February 1677/78.²
     From 22 May 1667, her married name became Jeffreys.¹

     Anne Bludworth was born on 16 December 1657 at St. Dionis Backchurch, Fenchurch Street, London, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Bludworth.² She married, firstly, Sir John Jones, son of Colonel Philip Jones and Jane Price.² She married, secondly, George Jeffreys, 1st Baron Jeffreys of Wem, son of John Jeffreys and Margaret Ireland, circa 6 June 1679.¹ She died circa September 1703.¹
     Her married name became Jones.² From 6 June 1679, her married name became Jeffreys.¹ After her marriage, Anne Bludworth was styled as Baroness Jeffreys of Wem on 16 May 1685.

     John Jeffreys was born in 1608.² He was the son of John Jeffreys and Margaret Lloyd.³ He married Margaret Ireland, daughter of Sir Thomas Ireland.² He died in 1691.²
