     Captain Evelyn Leonard Beridge Boothby was born on 4 May 1876.1 He was the son of Captain Basil Charles Boothby and Emily Sarah Jebb.1 He married, firstly, Esmé Frances Nevill Augusta Beauchamp, daughter of Sir Edward Beauchamp, 1st Bt. and Frances Mary Stephen, on 21 November 1905.1 He married, secondly, Lucy Margaret Amy Gregory, daughter of Alfred Edward Gregory, in 1924.1 He died on 14 January 1937 at age 60.2
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.1

     Sir Edward Beauchamp, 1st Bt. was born on 12 April 1849.2 He was the son of Reverend William Henry Beauchamp and Augusta Arnold.2,3 He married, firstly, Frances Mary Stephen, daughter of James Stephen, on 20 July 1875.2 He married, secondly, Betty Campbell Woods, daughter of Archibald Woods, on 2 June 1890.2 He died on 1 February 1925 at age 75.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He was chairman of Lloyds between 1905 and 1913.2 He was created 1st Baronet Beauchamp, of Grosvenor Place, Westminster [U.K.] on 27 June 1911.2 He was vice-chairman of Lloyds between 1915 and 1916.2
