     Ada Gwendolen Stokes was born circa 1877.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Arthur Stokes.3 She married Sir Eric Campbell Geddes, son of Auckland Campbell Geddes and Christina Helen McLeod Anderson, on 2 November 1900 at India.1,2 She died on 9 October 1945 at Jamnagar House, Staines, London, England.1,2
     From 2 November 1900, her married name became Geddes.
