Interventional Radiology Interest Group (IR IG)
Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Interventional Radiology Interest Group (IR IG) at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix is to expose students to the field of interventional radiological medicine. The IR IG will organize and host a variety of events including but not limited to lunch presentations by radiologists and hands-on workshop experiences, and provide students with shadowing experiences in various radiological sub-specialties that allow them to practice image analysis and learn how to integrate and correlate radiological findings with clinical information and other diagnostic data to ultimately provide better care to the patient.
