Presentations were delivered by academics from the University of Split on topics related to fostering educational excellence, these included:

• Enhancing participants’ understanding of critical and creative thinking;
• Elevating the quality of teaching;
• Analysing the quality of higher education from the perspective of transversal skills to better prepare students for future challenges;
• Creating and maintaining inclusive environments within educational institutions;
• Raising awareness of the hidden curriculum which includes the impact of the family, the media, and the social environment on students;
• Increasing awareness about the significance of sustainable practices.
  
  

In addition to the activities organised as part of the SEA-EU Staff Week in Split, Prof. Dingli also participated in a meeting on SEA-EU Task 2.3 on Micro-credentials, organised by representatives from Kiel University (CAU) in Germany. This task incorporates the development of Micro-credentials on Future Skills which are being developed and offered to students from all SEA-EU universities. It was evident that the Staff Week discussions overlapped with the topic of Micro credentials and Future Skills due to the focus on quality teaching, inclusive collaboration, and the promotion of critical and creative thinking. Insights that emerged from the Staff Week were discussed during this meeting and applied to the development and evaluation of Micro credentials on Future Skills.
