Cici Yongshi Yu is an associate producer for WBUR’s Morning Edition in Boston. Previously, she was the podcast fellow, writing and producing episodes for The Common and Endless Thread.

Cici graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with a bachelor of science degree in journalism and a minor in public policy analysis. She has published many bylines in various news outlets, including Bloomberg Law, The Boston Globe, Milford Daily News, Brookline.News and more. During her time at BU, her data-driven investigative story on the harness racing industry won the First Place Award for Best Sports Story from the Maine Press Association.

Cici is originally from Guangzhou, China. When she’s not in the studio, you can find her rock climbing at the gym, listening to podcasts and exploring culinary delights with friends.
