Hot Temperatures in the Central U.S.; Tropical Storm Hone to Pass South of Hawaii

Hot to excessively hot temperatures will migrate north reaching parts of the northern Plains and Upper Midwest by Sunday into Monday. Tropical Storm Hone will pass south of the Hawaiian Islands Sunday before pushing further west away from Hawaii through the week. A few morning showers and storms will be possible before mostly sunny conditions return for the rest of the day. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s with light southeast winds. There is a LOW risk of rip currents. However, dangerous swimming conditions are still possible, especially near piers and jetties.
Warm and humid tonight with overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s across South Texas. Skies will be partly cloudy and winds will be light from the south.
Temperatures over the next five days will range in the low 90s to around 100. There's low to moderate rain and storm chances each day with the best chances around the Victoria Crossroads on Monday and Tuesday.
