Merge?

[edit]

I suggest that this item is merged with year (Q577). Ainali (talk) 14:01, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ainali: Both are different. One denotes the age (ex: 57 years old) and other the year (ex: year 2020).-❙❚❚❙❙ GnOeee ❚❙❚❙❙ 18:22, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gnoeee: But they are both a unit of time (Q1790144) with the same length so we don't need two items. And which one is which in your explanation, because that is not clear from the items themself. Can you show some example items where they are used differently? Ainali (talk) 18:27, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ainali: Can you check these two examples of the properties P2250#P1855 and P2997#P1855. The 1st one denotes the life expectancy in years and the second one the age of subject-❙❚❚❙❙ GnOeee ❚❙❚❙❙ 19:06, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gnoeee: That's very strange, because to me that is exactly the same unit, namely years. There is no need for two different items for those two examples, especially not when the "unit" functionality is being used. Why can't it be the same item as units for those?
