Alias suggestion tool

I think that tool is broken, or at a minimum it is making bad recommendations. I'd check with the software people who maintain it before continuing to use it. Senator2029 23:58, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please check your edits, including these made via some tool. For instance you often add aliases that are identical to label. If you can't avoid this when editing via tool, then you probably shouldn't use this tool. 2001:7D0:81FD:BC80:A477:5644:4294:62E0 07:38, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Aliases like the ones you added here are not correct. In general, an alias should be able to function as an item's label. Please be sure to read through Help:Aliases before continuing to add more, and feel free leave a message at my talk page or at Project chat if you have any questions. I reverted some of your edits, but it seems that you haven't noticed the reasons. So again: don't add names of pharmaceutical products to items about chemical compounds. In Wikipedia the former are usually redirects to the latter, in Wikidata both concepts are described in different items, so such aliases are incorrect.
