Admission and Events Refund Policy
WHS Museums & Historic Sites
Thank you for your interest in purchasing tickets to visit our Museums & Historic Sites!
All tickets for general admission and special experiences are non-refundable and non-transferrable. All sales are final.
All events occur rain or shine. Events may be canceled due to an extreme weather event or other unforeseeable circumstances and ticketed guests will be notified. If cancelation of the event occurs by the host, the event will be rescheduled or guests will be refunded the full value of their admission ticket via the original method of payment.
General Admission tickets are valid during the 2024 season.
General Admission tickets are available for purchase on-site or online.
Circus World Museum General Admission tickets rates vary for spring/fall versus summer season, if you attempt to use a spring/fall ticket for the summer season you will be required to pay the remaining cost for the summer season ticket.
Villa Louis and Pendarvis Historic Sites offer timed, capacity limited, tours as their general admission experience. Guests should be prepared to attend the specific date and time selected when purchased. Should guests arrive at a different date and/or time from the ticketed information, due to capacity limits, purchased tickets may not be transferrable.
Please note that Black Point Estate & Gardens General Admission tickets are purchased through Lake Geneva Cruise Line and are subject to Cruise Line’s policies.
Special Experiences
Special experiences include any experience that is timed and/or capacity limited, including but not limited to, walking tours, guided tours, and any other special or unique experiences. These experiences are separate from and in addition to General Admission.
Capacity is limited for most special experiences, we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance. Some special experiences are pre-purchase only per the event description. Special experiences are on specific dates (and often, times), please plan accordingly.

Redemption
All tickets purchased online are delivered via email. Guests must present a printed or electronic copy of their ticket(s) to gain admission to the museum or historic site. If a guest arrives at the museum or historic site without their pre-purchased ticket(s), attempts will be made to locate information about their ticket, but they may be required to purchase ticket(s) onsite to gain admission.
Coupons and incentives are redeemable on-site only.
Tickets for general admission and special events purchased by phone, online or on-site cannot be redeemed for cash. Tickets may be used only once. The Wisconsin Historical Society is not responsible for any mishandling of eTickets that results in a ticket-holder being unable to redeem their ticket(s). Tickets sold or issued by the Wisconsin Historical Society may not be resold or traded for more than the face value of the ticket; the Wisconsin Historical Society reserves the right to revoke or refuse to honor tickets that have been resold for more than their face value.
