Location and Uses

Quivers are bags in which Link can carry Arrows for use with a Bow. When a Bow is obtained, it usually comes with its respective Quiver, though this is usually not explicitly stated or shown.[4]

Quivers can also be upgraded, thereby increasing the capacity of Arrows Link can carry at a time.[5] In most cases, these upgrades can be obtained in any order; therefore, the first upgrade obtained will be a medium-sized Quiver, while the next upgrade will a larger Quiver. The Quiver upgrades shown below are listed in the order which they are typically obtained.

In earlier games, such as A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening, Quivers were absent; Link's Arrow capacity was instead increased by the blessings of other characters, such as Venus and the Mad Batter.[6]

Ocarina of Time

The first Quiver in Ocarina of Time is obtained with the Fairy Bow as the Dungeon Item of the Forest Temple. Its two upgrades can be obtained in any order.
