Mr Taylor nominated General Kpenkpah Konah, as the new chief of the armed forces. He succeeds Prince Johnson, who died in a car accident. Colonel John Tarnue is to be the new commander of the national army. His former position as head of the special safety unit at the executive mansion has been also been filled.
