     Donel O'Donovan, The O'Donovan was the son of Cathal O'Donovan, The O'Donovan.2 He died in 1584.1
     Donel O'Donovan, The O'Donovan also went by the nick-name of 'Done-nag-Croiceann' (or in English, Donel of the Hides), beacause when a child he was concealed from his father's enemies in cows' skins.1 In 1560 he was inaugurated as Chieftain by McCarthy Reagh, Chieftain of Carbery.1 He held the position of Chief of the Clan Cathal from in 1560.1
