Helen Geraldine Ponsonby.^1,2 He married Alexandra Albertha Jean Hamilton, daughter of Admiral Sir Frederick Tower Hamilton and Maria Walpole Keppel, on 28 June 1920.¹ He died on 31 January 1922 at age 31.¹
     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Alexandra Albertha Jean Hamilton was born in 1897.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Frederick Tower Hamilton and Maria Walpole Keppel.¹ She married Hon. Ronald John Sholto Douglas, son of Sholto George Douglas, 19th Earl of Morton and Hon. Helen Geraldine Ponsonby, on 28 June 1920.¹ She died on 2 March 1974.¹
     Her married name became Douglas.

     Sholto Charles John Hay Douglas, 20th Earl of Morton was born on 12 April 1907.¹ He was the son of Sholto Charles Douglas, Lord Aberdour and Minnie Christina Brenda Hay.¹ He died on 13 February 1976 at age 68, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 20th Earl of Morton [S., 1458] on 8 October 1935.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College School, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1936 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Linnean Society (F.L.S.)¹ He was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society Victoria Medal of Honour in 1967.¹
